Hello Pacer Chicks and Pacer Guys!

Thanks so much for your emails, texts etc..... nice to know you are all there for me and 'persuaded' me to go and get checked......

Right, went to see pacing tech guy and cardiologist - which has resulted in me having to take beta-blockers! ERYUCK!!

I have had a few tachy episodes and a dodgy experience the other night. I am due for another check next month.

So that's it! So..... gonna pop into chat and drown my sorrows!! anyone care to join me??!!

I'm sorry to hear about the beta blockers but glad they at least found out what the problem is! The first step to feeling better is knowing what's going on.

I'll join ya. What are we drowning our sorrows in, because I've had a heck of a day as well. I've updated my status on Facebook- and I'm keeping it like thatfor a few days because that seems to be my lingering emotion, and I'm doubtful that it'll change anytime soon.
Hey there's another emotion! Maybe I should change it to "doubtful".
Anyways- Welcome to the Beta Blocker Brigade. What one ya on anyways? I'm currently on enough Toprol XL to knock down a horse, but yet I'm still racing like one. LOL! It's all a little perplexing to me since a few months ago I couldn't tolerate 25mg. Now I'm on 200mg, and it doesn't even phase me. I think I've tried so many drugs over the years that I've become cardiac drug immune, either that or my body thinks I'm such a druggie that my tolerance is way out of whack.
