Florida Social Event.... accomodation - anyone wanna share?

Hey guys!!

Yet to break the news to hubby that I am interested in coming over in September..... aherm!

I CAN ONLY COME IF I GET A CHEAP FLIGHT FROM UK!!! ha ha ha! Here's hoping!!!

Anyway , just thinking, if anyone else might be interested in trying to save some pounds/dollars by sharing a hotel room or other acommodation with this Pacer Chick??? as I am a little 'skint' as us brits say, after our last holiday to Florida just a few months ago!!!

Also thinking that IF (and it's a big IF) I come over, I will probably try and stay for a week...........

I was just last night talking about this with my hubby and he doesn't think he can leave his work then. He is an Engineer (train) and he is in his busiest time of the year then. Well, I explained to him... I guess I will just have to go alone. he he =)

So now I have been checking flights and it looks like I can manage a ticket if I decide to do this before the rates go up. I would love to room together with you or any other Pacer Chicks Maureen????? Tammy???? just to name a few! if my hubby can't come along.

I am so happy that Blake mentioned this event! We might even be able to raise some money for the Heartbeat cause.

You sound like donkey in Shrek when he leaps up and down... saying.... ooooh Pick me, Pick me!!!!

Just checked... and No! there are no laws stating that Tracey & Loopy shouldn't get together!!!!

This is all dependant on my finances... and getting a cheap flight.... and a cheap place to stay, else I wont be able to come..... : 0(

Fingers and everything crossed!!!! xxxxxxxxxxx

Angelie and Lou, odds are C will not come so it will just me and the girls. I will get something big enough for all of us. If the two of you can get there, the room is on me! I'd be getting us a big one anyway, we're happy to share.

I'm going too.

I can sleep on the floor......I don't care........

I've been at retreats where 4 stay to a room just fine. I don't have a problem with that at all. We'll all be visiting with each other anyways, and would be MUCH cheaper for all of us. I can almost guarantee that I'll be going alone as well...without my hubby.

Just let you know from my point of view.

Dennys

My kids adore Dennys! But not necessary. You already sneakily grabbed a check out from under me more than once. I am on to your tricks!!! You will not best me this time.

I want you to come so I'll do whatever I can to help get you here! I'd already be getting a hotel room so I'm happy to share with my twin. Though I suspect it's triplets, we'll have to hang out with Angelie for a few hours to make sure my suspicions are spot on.

(maybe we should shut up? We are a group of heart patients, we don't want to scare the others out of coming! hee hee)

My eight year old son had a pacemaker since he was 6 months old. He does very well, plays soccer, baseball, and rides his bike. I am so glad he is not ashamed of his pacemaker. He will proudly show his "battery" to anyone.
