TRACEY E !!! PACER CHICK!

Most of you will have seen Tracey E's name attatched to quite a lot of postings. She is always there when you need her, always happy to offer advice and always takes time with you.

Well I just want to say a huge Thank You to Tracey for looking after me when I stayed with her last weekend for a few days. She drove us up to Tampa from West Palm Beach. Put up with me changing hotel rooms(!), picked the bathroom lock that I had somehow locked, put up with my dreadful American accent, put up with me trying to find milk to make my nice cup of tea, put up with me when I asked all her friends to say the word.... vehicle... (don't ask!) - oh I could go on and on and on..........

SO THIS IS THANKS TO A SPECIAL LADY WITH A WONDERFUL FAMILY!! THANKS FOR LOOKING AFTER ME AND OTHERS ON THIS SITE!

Ok, so the word vehicle...... I just love the way her hubby says this word.... and her friends, and her kids....!!! I find that americans pronounce this word over 3 syllables....... eg.... ve ......... hi............ cles.....!

instead of the brit way of saying ve ... hicles....! the more I am writing this the more absurd this is sounding.... so I'm gonna quit while I'm ahead!! lol! You had to be there! xx

I'll have to post the picture of you studying your cheat sheet at the football game. You made quite the impression!!!! No fewer than half a dozen asked if you got off ok.

I think your American accent was better than my British one. I only laughed when you threw in the southern twang!!

Ellen, the woman is crazy! We Americans don't slur "vehicle" into one long syllable like a certain Brit I could name, so she thinks we make it about ten syllables. She cracks up every time she hears it so sometimes she walks up to strangers- like my kids' cheer coaches LOL- and asks them to pronounce it.

Its almost a year since I got my pm. Legs still bad from lipo that went wrong, so horrible summer with swollen legs, but at least I'm still here. I have my up days and down days, but I always know that there are people on here such as Tracey E, Pookie, Elec Frank, Pacer Girl, just to name a few who are there to support. Thanks to all of you.

I've gotta chime in here too....TraceyE is awesome. She has helped me too and it wasn't even for my heart issue but rather my gut issues which are SO much better now.

Thanks again Tracey, you are brilliant and a wealth of information, I love your attitude and you deserve a round of applause . You truly are a valued member.
