Still fainted

Fainted tonight while lying down reading. I am one wk post op. Was fainting very often before 5 out of 8 days last wk, 12 times this month. Whats up. Is a lead loose or do I need adjusting. Should I worry. Went to emerg in this small hsp and they of course said pulse was normal by that time. Help?

give them a call

Odds are much higher that your programming needs adjusted than something is wrong with the lead. Did they call the pm rep from the ER and ask them to interrogate? Pm's have a memory so they can probably see what happened when you passed out. Call your doctors office today and ask them to check it out before the incident gets overwritten. They're all different, but mine stores three incidents so I don't wait for my regular interrogation appt when something odd like that happens. But don't worry that something is wrong! It's not unusual to need the programming tweaked.

lower rate?

I also had some problems when I first got the pm. My lower rate was set at 55 and I still got dizzy often. My EP raised the rate to 70 and I am doing much better with that. Good luck to you, Boatman

If you lower it isnt that mare dangerous. I am at 60. I saw dr and they have no idea why, they say pm is fine.

Had 6 wk check up. They say pm is ok and that it wored 13% of time. Guess I needed it. I still get weak spells and they do not know why. Set at 60.
Any ideas. I do not loose conciousness now at least.
