Lighting

Hi everyone. we have had a warning that we are in for lighting storms and they have listed a few things to be careful of
, you know the usual things of not sheltering under trees etc,but what caught my eye was to stay away from metal. Does that make us more prone to lighting strikes with this little gem in our chest? Thanks Barbara.

The best way to handle those warnings is to ignore them. They are just filler material for the medial to drag out when them need to say something. Your pacemaker will have no effect on attracting lightning.

The best way to deal with being caught outdoors in a lightning storm is to use the time to figure out how you got yourself into that situation in the first place.

Hi Barbara,

Relax, your pacemaker will not act as a lightening rod, thereby making you more likely to be struck by lightening. Your risk of being stuck down now are the same as before your got that little gem.

You know you're wired when...

Your pacemaker receives radio frequencies.
