Exercising, losing weight!!!!!!!!!!!

Well i have had my Implant (Virtuoso VR defib) for 9 months, I am a big guy and need to lose some weight. I have no problem with working out and walking and treadmills and all that. I love to listen to music and just work out. I just kinda wanted some guidance on what some of the good sized people have been doing and what they have lost. I need to drop 50 by the end of the year which i know can be done with no problem. Please chime in and let me know. I have left out, soda and diet, candy, cookies, cake's, eating out ( if i do it is twice a month), I am only 27 and I want to get the 50 pounds off by my birthday in January. Now it seems to be hard to lose weight due to the water that can be on my body. Please help.

Are u on diarectics? You need to limit your sodium intake to 2000 mg a day, fat intake, carbs and moderation is probably the most important thing of all, read the labels on products before you buy
you would be amazed at some of the things you put into your body, I know I was. I have to watch mine quite closely as I retain fluids. keep excercising and watch your intake. You start to lose faster than you think. Good luck nrracing, oh yes dont get discourged when your at the store looking at the labels, if your like me I reading and thinking good lord I cant eat anything. lol.

simple plan

Simple fact. If you take in more calories than you burn off you gain weight. If you burn more than you take in you loose weight. You can go out to eat every night and still loose weight. You can exercise 12 hours a day and still gain weight. It is all about calories.Real simple
Best of luck

JSL - HUH?

JSL, that has been proven to be wrong. In MANY studies, animals and people have been in controlled study cases. When fed the EXACT same diet, some lost weight, some stayed the same - AND some still gained. It is MUCH more complicated than calories in/out.
In ancient times, the people whose bodies held on to weight during times of famine lived, while those who couldn't, died out You can't pass on your genes to the next generation - if you are dead. But, the ones who survived did. So, the complicated process of weight maintance has a genetic component. It was a useful trait in ancient times, and is still with us. In some people, it has expressed itself fully, while in others, it is not as fully functioning.
Take it from someone who knows. I have gone from 309 lbs. to 135.5 lbs.. I have the fully functioning gene. It has been HELL!
