Taking Meds

I take potassium, levothroid, Lasix, diltiazem, Vytorin, and until a few months ago I also took Coreg (beta blocker) and digoxin. I have always (50+ years) taken all of my medicines at one time and that is usually within 15 minutes of my getting up in the morning. You know, I wonder if that is the reason I don't get as much benefit from my medicines as some people seem to get.

Tried various times

I have tried my medications all at once and spacing them a various times and it did make much difference.

I am taking Warfarin, Digoxin(Beta blocker) Dialtazen, Toprol and a water pill.

I have also tried taking them with meals. before eating and after eating and couldn't see any change in the nausea or tiredness side effects.

Currently I take most of the medications in the morning. As soon as the alarm goes off I take the medication before getting out of bed then get something to eat.

I take coumadin, fleccanide, vytorin, and a blood pressure pill. I take them all, except the coumadin, at the same time, when i wake up in the morning, before going to the gym.

I take the coumadin in the evening around meal time. My doctor told me that it is important to take the pills at the same time daily and there is no problem taking them together. When i was hospitalized for my pm implant, they gave me the coumadin in the pm, so i just kept up the schedule. Its been about 5 weeks and its working well for me. Good luck and take care
