Hello All

I am a new PM/ICD recipient. 4 weeks on the 31st. I haven't noticed anything out of the ordinary except that the skin over the device always appears warm to the touch. I was glad to find the PM Club, where there are others who are experiencing the same thing. I'm amazed to read the messages and hear what others are experiencing, Later.

Hi Colvin, welcome to the site. I too have a PM/ICD and in the early days this site was my saviour. I hope you will also find a lot of support and help here - if you ever need it of course!

My ICD felt warm for some weeks after implant but after a while it went and hasn't returned. I think it might just have been the settling down process. If it continues and you are worried I sould mention it to you doctor.

Take care and keep in touch.

Lesley

A pacemaker completely solved my problem. In fact, it was implanted just 7 weeks ago and I ran a race today, placed first in my age group.
