pacemaker syndrom

I am 9 weeks after my pacemaker implant because of SSS.
MY atrial fib(sometimes flutter)comes back.I feel breathless fatigue and sometimes kicks on the breastbone site
It's never happened before my pacemaker implant. My doctor told me that the pacemaker is o.k I take high doses of betablockers and calcium chanel blockers. What it's pacemaker syndrom? There is any connection between this and my feelings? Every comment will be appreciated.
Anette.

Pacemaker Syndrome

Hi Anette.

There is a SEARCH feature that is very helpful right here on this website...upper right hand corner. I did a search of Pacemaker Syndrome and found lots of information. You might want to go to the Mayo Clinic website too as I personally find that site very informative.

Hope this helps.

Have the pacemaker technician check the way the pacemaker changes settings when you have the afib. it may be that the pacemaker is trying to match the upper chamber rate and it is making you feel bad. it might be as easy as a change of the pacemaker settings. it is called mode switch when it sees afib and adjusts itself automatically.

You know you're wired when...

You fondly named your implanted buddy.
