What is going on?

I am 25 years old and I had an abblation done on May 8, 2008 which was unsuccessful and received a pacemaker on May 19, 2008. Since the implant, I experience terrible pain and throbbing in my chest as well as other areas of my body, has anyone else experienced this? My doctors are lost and now so am I please let me know what you think........

Have they considered the possibility you have a low grade infection? It's rare but does happen occasionally.

Get your PM and Leads Checked and a CT scan

I have just come out of hospital after 11 days with many of the symptoms you are experiencing. I had pain and throbbing and my pain was "referred pain" in my shoulder and neck - it turns out the ventricular lead had detached and migrated to puncture my heart and my lead was not working. I have since had surgery to very carefully remove that lead.
If your doctors cant work it out, then at least get your PM and leads tested and a CT scan which showed up my problems. Good luck.
