Warming Hearts

Hello NUKA, you are an inspiration to me. I live in Kansas US and I work downtown. We have a lot of homeless people here. Many of them are Veterans. I will purchase Brand New Socks and I will hand them out as I pass the homeless on the streets. I will tell them that the socks are from a friend her name is NUKA!

Thank you Pacergirl and I know some cold feet will thank you also. You're a treasure. If we can just keep on passing it on we can make a difference.

A former homeless man who lived on the streets for 13 years said he got a pair of new socks for Christmas in 1996 and it was the greatest gift he can ever remember getting. Sometimes little things do mean a lot.

Hi Nuka,

The comment from the former homeless man about the socks he received way back in 1996 is a testimony to what a difference the smallest thing can make. Sure helps us put things in perspective doesn't it?
