Just a friendly reminder that today is THE DAY!

To help raise awareness about heart disease wear red today! Heart disease is the number one killer of women! I am wearing red today and I hope when I go out I see tons of RED!

Also, don't forget to get a picture of youself showing your support and be sure to add it to our Member Gallery.

Hey you guys this is an invitation for you as well. We know you guys have a red shirt somewhere. Pull it out and show your support. You can do it! Come on Peter N. I know you have a red SL shirt tucked away and I wish to see it!

Not only am I wearing red today, but I am also seeing red. I have been trying all day to post a photo, to no avail.
I don't know if it's because there are a lot of people trying to do the same, but I'm giving up. When I can figure out why it isn't working, I'll give it another shot.

Since this month is National Heart Awareness for WOMEN, is there a month set aside for men's heart disease awareness? Is everyone asked to wear their boxers?

I'm kind of kidding, but these gender oriented, health awareness days for non-gender diseases vex me.

That said, i do have a red Hawaiian shirt to wear today.

i think feb is heart month for everyone. i know what you mean tho. my mom tho had heart disease and she didn't get much help in the bigger centres. fewer women got bi-pass for example then. so i agree both are important. so just wear your shit and boxers too if you like. remember we are both important and just as jessie
