I wish I could fly!!!!!

Hi there! Paced for 4 weeks now and flew to portugal last tuesday for 4 days, was a bit apprehensive but was absolutely fine.

Bham airport did zap me but only very quickly and faro airport in Portugal just did a quick body search and didnt even use the zapper.

I mentioned at check in on both occasions that i'd just had a pm fitted, and monarch, just a budget airline were superb, they gave me 3 seats on the way out as the flight wasnt full so i could put my feet up and put myself and my husband in aisle seats in row 1 on the way back.

I never even got a twinge on the airplane, so i've got my wings back. Next stop Dublin next weekend for a bit of xmas shopping!!!

Fly Away!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Hot Heart,

I know how you feel - isn't it great? I couldn't drive or fly for 11 months after my ICD implant 4 years ago but you should see me know. Any chance and I'm off - Spain (4 times in the last two years) Portugal twice and Cyprus every 6 months, all to stay with friends. I love it!!!!!!! It doesn't bother me one bit - I get on the plane and apart from the airport check I don't think about it. Good for you - make the most of it and enjoy it to the full. I'm off to Lebanon early next year - that'll be a bit frought but I shan't let it stop me.

Good luck to you and keep travelling for as long as you can.

Lesley

Man, take me with you

I'm always envious as I hear of all this travelling. Good grief, how I want to travel. I'm in the USA and consider myself lucky to have been to Canada, but from Seattle going to Canada is a piece of cake.LOL!
I hope you know how fortunate you are to be able to fly. Please know that my heart is with you.
So glad to hear you're doing well and that you've got your wings back. Right on!
