Stress test

I had one of these stress test with the injection (IV) to test the heart's response. Of course there are risks to everything but this is a frequent test for people like us who for one reason or the other can't do a regular test. Well, anyhow, I am 100% paced & it was easy. Told my doc a lot of stuff needed to know. I am sure you'll get a lot of responses with others experience on this site. All good input.

Good luck to you & hubby,

Janet

chemical stress test

It's perfectly safe to have with a pm, many members here have had it more than once. It gives the dr a great picture of how the heart is working.

Here is a description of what they do and why

The only type of test we need to be careful about is MRI's.

Me too

Yep - I had it. No biggie. You just sit down and the medication fools your heart into thinking you are exercising. Feels weird when you reach your threshold but stops very quickly and you are back to "normal" in no time. Good luck !
