pulpitations

hi everyone im of panicing again ,my hubby has a pm and merchanical m valve ,so i am now worried about my son ,yesterday he was sitting at pc when he came over all hot and dizzy he came down stairs and his heart was thumping away like mad ,pulpitations i think this is the first time this has happened but a rember a couple of weeks ago he did have some sharp cheast pains that come and went ,,with my hubby having a heart condition i am now panicing over this ,he is 27 yrs old still my baby though so i of to make him go fo see gp ,am i doing right or am i just over reacting ? any ideas should you just have paulpitations come on like this ? thanx for letting me ramble on my pm frends

Hi Bullseye, I have a couple of those big "babies" myself. I'd be most concerned most concerned about the chest pain. Send your son to his doctor for a good checkup, some lab work and an EKG so you and he can have some peace of mind. Lenora

I am not a mom but your son is closer to my age. When anybody has random chest pain like that and has a family history I think getting checked out is important.
I will say some prayers for your family.

Did you ever figure out what was wrong with your sons pacemaker if not let me know. I had the same problem and it took 8 months to figure it out. The sad part is I had to figure out what was wrong myself then they finally fixed it.

hi everyone well son went to gp he had a ecg came bk normal thank god but unless you have pupitations at that same time as ecg they dont show up ,he had a good medical his bp is very low so they gona keep eye on that and if paupitations happen again he is to go straight bk but they did say he done the right thing in going to c gp given his dads heart history ,so finger crossed it was just a one off thing x
