Personally ~ MY Opinion ~ ~

Very definitely, my opinion, stress is a big factor. Of course, what you eat is a big factor (trying to avoid large amounts of vitamin K) and of course, any missed meds are a big factor.
Stress is just part of life though. I am a 'control freak'. I 'try' really hard to 'let go' of what I can't control, and I try really hard to let God take over HIS job and not try to control that too. HE can deal with the stress, problems, disputes which I have no or lil' control over. Hard to let go though ~ really, very hard to let go ~ ~
Your hubby has the choice of really trying to UNstress, eat right & don't forget his meds OR one end of the scale can cause a stroke or the other end of the scale can cause a blood clot. Bless your Hubby ~
This is just MY personal feeling: IF your Hubby was stressed 3 weeks ago over a Family dispute & might still be stressed by this, does this Family member/ hubby care at all for their Father? What is so important to endanger a human life of someone you really love? My personal opinion and not knowing the dispute, I think 'selfishness' is involved by the Daughter to be able to stress out another human this bad.
OK, none of my biz ~ Let us hear of his progress,

I'm 44, active and have had my device for two years. I love it as I can run again and enjoy working out without feeling like I'm an old man.
Agree with Cariolyn

a missed dose will affect INR for a few days. When surgery or whatever requires me to come off Coumadin for 4-7 days (depends on what's done) it is back to normal range for me 2-3 range in 4 or so days.Agree that stress probably impacts it a lot & diet and exercise, other meds are big factors.
Hope this helps,
Janet
