fluid around pacemaker

Hello,
My name is Bonnie. My son just recently had a pacemaker implanted (dec.4) Fluid has started to form around the pacemaker. We went to see the cardiologist this morning and he put him on Motrin. I was wondering if anyone else has had such symptoms? Thanks so much!

I had some fluid around mine the last time I had it replaced. I did a heating pad on low every few hours for a day or two and it went away. It never hurt, it was just a bit swollen.
