Hi

My name is Fuad. I'm from Malaysia and just had my PM implanted on 9th December 2008 for Bradycardia. Still new and trying to adjust life with PM. That why I joined this club to get an idea, answer and suggestion from all the senior who have been through this.

My firdt concern is does Belkin N1 wireless router affect the PM? I'm using it in my room to connect with other computer in the other room. Another question is does air compressor affect your PM? My hoppy is doing scale model and will normally using air brush for it.

Is there any other surprises that i may encounter after this?

Thanks

Fuad

Wireless Router

Hi Faud, in answer to your first question. No, the router will have no effect on your PM. I have a home network and it operates with out a hitch. The same for your second question. the compressor won't bother it. I'm on my second PM and have had no problems with it.

Enjoy your hobbies.

There is very little that will bother a modern pacemaker short of being in an MRI. I'm an electronic engineer and work around all sorts of devices and have yet to have anything affect my pacer. I'm paced 100% of the time so would notice it if there was a problem.
