I recently had a ICD implant, Oct 16, 08. My cardiologist introduced himself at midnight, awaken by him while doing his rounds he insisted I have a ICD implant due to my enlarged heart. Ok after signing my waivers surgery was due and it was implanted. Hey I am naive and believed my doctor. Today is December 15, 08 and I have almost lost everything financially, including my job. I was a maintenance mechanic for the last 27 years. My doctor suggested I go and do something else, thats what my employer said too. With no health coverage, On SDI in california in get $1070.00 a month thats why I am having a hard time. Before I can get help I loose something because it take so long to do paper and get approved. I have a 9 year old son and feel I can longer provide for him. I know sound depressed thats because I am. Does anyone have any good suggestions or advice I could really use some since Christmas is around the corner.

Tough Times

I can only imagine how difficult it is to get through each day. And easy for someone else to sit here and tell you keep good thoughts. I try to look at life as somehow "Always Blessings, Never Losses". Do you have a church affiliation that you can go see them, sometimes they are able to help someone. I don't know how one signs up with Toys for Tots, or a group like that. I can only wish you a better 2009 and hope and pray that times turn around for you. Do you have any family or friends that you can turn to for help? My heart goes out to you in so many ways. Don't give up hope and prayers!!!!
