Cardiac Cath

I just got home from the hospital having a Cardiac Cath. Everything went great as they took me in 45 minutes ahead of schedule. The test was good also as I didn't have any additional blockage so no stent work was needed.

I had not so good entertainment of the suicidal attack on the IRS office building in Austin Texas by a very unhappy political pilot. It made my normal 4 hour bed stay go fast, but also upsets me as a pilot, to use this kind of action to prove his feelings.

I want to thank everyone for your support & prayers. donb

I appreciate your response. I believe the incident at Austin yesterday had a heavy impact on a lot of us. As I'm licensed pilot since 1958 I can't imagine what thoughts can go through anyone's mind for this kind of action. Any trained pilot with a healthy mind could not do this. Apparently Survival of anyone was no longer a part of his mind. Very Sad. Hopefully his surving family will heal from all this. donb

Gratitudes for Your Recovery

Great that your procedure went good and the test showed you did not have any additional problems. What gratitudes for all this.

Yes, living around Austin, Texas, is quite an eye opener. We have lived here all our life and nothing new surprises us. This man had many, many problems other than committing suicide today. He had a lovely wife, young daughter and a wealth of friends and lived in a beautiful two story home in a very nice neighborhood. Not only did they lose their home to a explosion/fire this morning, but he went and picked up his plane & flew it low over major highways and into a people packed building. We feel very fortunate a lot of innocent people were spared injury/deaths, but very sad, two people were killed today, thirteen injured, two in bad shape with burns. Now there is a widow and beautiful, young daughter without a home wondering where/what their life can be. We all need to pray for the family left here.
