Nerve damage

I have recently had my pacemaker replaced and am experiencing occasional spasms in my breast. Could this be nerve damage or some other cause?

Is it over your PM or lower in your breast? I get twitching over my site when I work out sometimes. I'm not sure why it happens sometimes and not others, but am not that concerned about it. I should probably ask my EP about it.

I get spasms under my ICD after using my chest (usually after working out) and I get an odd rubbing sensation, but I guess it's just something else I just have to live with.

My EP has told me that my ICD will probably always bother me. It's not really painful, just annoying.

When they do a replacement, they try to go in the same place and use the same pocket so they're cutting through scar rather than new tissue, so nerve damage is unlikely but not impossible. It's probably just healing. You could try icing it.

Heckboy, if it's in muscle, that can happen. It's annoying but harmless.
