Pacemaker wakes me up at 4:39am now

Hello everyone,
I am pretty new to all this, I am 3 month post pm. Since the time change my pacemaker wakes me up at 4:39am and it didn't before the time change. Do they do some kind of reset or maintenance to itself during the night? I don't see my clinic for quite a while since I just had a check and forgot to ask. At that time it had only happened once so didn't make the connection. It only happens for a few beats but I can feel it almost "test" the chambers and then it is gone. Strange. Just wondered if anyone knew if they do something on their own routinely.
Thanks!

Had the same problem

I moved from the West Coast to Eastern time zone.
My PM went into test mode at about 4:30 am, but when I moved, it was 7:30. As Tracy said, you can have it changed.
It's no big deal, but it's nicer when you're in a deep sleep and it doesn't wake you.

self test

A lot of pm's do self tests and it's programmed to do it while we sleep. It may be that you sleep more lightly at 4:39 than you do at 3:39 and you were sleeping through it before. If it's waking you up, I'd call and ask to have it changed before your next appointment.
