Hybrid Car ok? Mederma scar cream?

Hi everyone. I haven't asked a question for a while but I have 2 and wonder if anyone out there has the same ones.
I would like to use a scar therapy cream now that my scar is healed. Has anyone tried one with success? Also we are thinking of getting a HYBRID car. They have an electromagnetic engine part, any problems with driving one with a pacemaker? Does anyone out there have a Hybrid, do you like it? Many thanks!!!

Keyless Entry

I believe the issue that you're referring to with the hybrid is actually due to the keyless entry feature on many hybrids.

So you could google "keyless entry" +pacemaker to research it. Here is a thread on here about it too:

PreferOn

I have used preferon with fairly good success. I am only about 4 months post-op, but my scar isn't that noticeable (like a few others here, my scar is small).

Patch

I used the patch for scars. Get the kind that is not clear but skin color. I forgot the name but it is in drug stores. The kind that is skin color is softer, the clear is more sticky and does not work as well. My doctor also did not put a large scar on me too.

I win

I seriously think I win for the smallest implant scar at only 1 INCH long.
Unfortunately unlike some other stories Ive heard, my doctor did such a wonderful job on my incision that I never thought of using any scar treatment. Plus, I earned that scar and with all the other implants coming in the future- making the scar look good seems rather contradictory if they're only going to mess it up again come replacement time.

Patch, I read the review on your surgeon through an online site and discovered that he's an aspiring lumberjack. Which is more catastrophic than me finding out that my EP doc and implant surgeon was at first a full time music major. Sometimes I think he accidentally implanted me with an Ipod Nano instead of a pacemaker. All these tunes running through my body drive me crazy at times.

Hybrids haven't done anything for my scar, but I hear that they're making quite the impact on the enviromental scars that people etch into this earth.
Seriously, I haven't heard anything about Hybrids interferring with pacemakers/ICDs.

You know you're wired when...

You have an excuse for gaining an extra ounce or two.
