Home from the hospital

Hello everyone,

Just wanted to let you know that I had my pm surgery on Friday and came home today. They implanted the pm but had to hold off on the AV node ablation. I'm having that done in a few weeks.

I had to stay in the hospital an extra day because my pulse is high (in the 110's) and my blood pressure is low.

That's it for now...I'm tired!!!

Take care,

Debbie

I had mine on Thurs. Almost back to normal today. Spent the day outside working in my yard and feel great. Hope you feel better soon!

Nice to know you are home :)

I am glad to know the hospital staff recognized the need to keep you a little longer. Sometimes they send us home within hours of surgery and then we struggle with discomfort, pain and sometimes problems that require some medical attention. Sounds as if you had a good team looking out for you! :-)
So, get some rest, allow your body to heal and welcome to the Pacer Chicks Club! he he

Thanks for all your thoughts and good wishes. The lump in my chest (aka third boob)will never let me forget that I'm now an official member of the pacer girls! What an honor!!!

Did anyone else have sever pain when you woke up from surgery? It was like someone wrapped a belt of pain all the way around me. It still hurts to breath a liitle bit but it's a lot better. They had me on a double dose of tylenol 3 with codine and IV moraphine (sp). Then I was so sick to my stomach I almost lost it. Then one of my closest friends came to see me in the hospital and told me his mom died in the room next to mine just a couple of months ago. Glad Friday is over!!!

Talk to you all soon!

Debbie
