How long to heal completely

Hello everyone

I got my pacemaker five weeks ago. The incision has healed nicely, I'm feeling well and I've been back to work for past two weeks, However, the area around the pacemaker and my shoulder still hurt when I get up or when I have a long busy day. How long does it take for the pain to go away completely?

Everyone is different, we all heal differently and our surgeons are all different but most are back to our old selves by 6-8 weeks. Some get the occasional twinge longer than that.
