I have some fun news. I live in a very small town just 15 miles south of Wichita, Kansas. Every year for the last 135 years or so, there has been a town picnic. Well, actually now it has become a full blown festival. Thousands of people flock to our town of 5000 people. There are all kinds of events and activities. There is a Window display contest and I have won a ribbon for decorating windows in the store fronts downtown! It has been a lot of work, but well worth it. I now have won 1st, 2nd, and third places! There is prize money as well. So that is my good news. I never felt confident enough to enter any sort of contest as a child, but things are different for me now. As tired as I am after the week of working, excitement and the festival... it has all been worth it. My behind is dragging on the floor behind me, but that's ok. I can sleep in tomorrow.
Take care everyone. I hope you have a nice evening.

Hi, I have slept in... woke up at 7:45am. That is really late for me.
Thank you so much for your interest in what I have been doing. I will post a few pictures very soon so you can see my work. Keep in mind that this is a thrift shop and everything in the window was either donated or printed by me.
I really do enjoy what I do and it really keeps me busy. Winning if fun as well!
I can hardly wait for the holidays! I am already planning those windows. :-)
Take care,
Thank you again,
Pacergirl
