Supplements with a pacemaker

Has anyone ever used pre-workout supplements while having a pacemaker. N.O supplements that are supposed to increase blood flow to the muscles and increase energy. I believe it releases nitric oxide. I asked my cardiologist and he said he didnt think it would be bad but didnt seem to know much on the subject. If anyone has any experience with this please let me know.

(supplements such as N.O explode, superpump 250)

Thank you in advance!

Supplements in general...

I have tried a few of those supplements, like creatine, etc. I've had friends who swear they work, but I took them for a while, did nothing except taste bad and cost me money. I was willing to try as long as I know it's pretty safe, but my advice from trying a few of those supplements are...

Outside of protein supplements or meal replacements to pack in extra calories, they are not worth it. They really arn't going to do anything for you.

Now, you do have the flip side. there are a lot of weight loss products out there which are basically stimulants. I would stay away from those personally.

Kre-ex

I've tried N.O. and didn't care for it. I'm 38 and have had a pacer for 2.5 years. I work out 5 days a week and it hasn't slowed me down one bit. I currently take Kre-ex, 100% Whey protien, and Casein Protien. Many believe products like Kre-ex, N.O. Cell Tech, Creatine etc....are wothless, my opinion varies as i have seen good results with Kre-ex. hope this helps. you'll find there are few muscle heads in the pacer world :) As a rule....it's always wise to let your cardio Dr. know/approve what youre taking. Mine didn't like the pottasium or elecrolite levels in kre-ex. but we came to an agreement.
