New Pacemaker help

Hay,
Im 16 just had a new pacemake on wednesday. Came home yesterday. Im obvioulsy a bit sore but it feels like i have a massive bulge or something in my stomach not like my last pacemaker. Also i keep twingin like jumping sort of a spasm.
Has anyone else felt like this?

Hey!! My name is Sydney and I'm 14, almost 15. I had my last surgery @ 8 years old, so I don't remember much. However, I had my first one @ 15 hours old, so I'm kinda used to it. As I really can't help you here, I would love to chat w/ you anytime! :) There are some other teens here too. TTYL!!!!

I had those twinges right after my was implanted 2 years ago. Next day, Dr. adjusted settings.... all set since.

A couple of possibilities

The most likely thing is that the settings are the ones that come on the new pacer from the factory. They need to set for your needs. It is strange with a replacement pacer that they didn't set it like the old one right away.

The other possibility is that one of the leads wasn't properly attached to the pacemaker.

If it doesn't clear up right away or feels strange, you need to ask for a check up. There is no reason to go around being uncomfortable while waiting for several weeks for a checkup.
