Summary Pages from your L331 Pacemaker?

How do you get printouts of your Summary Pages from your Boston Scientific L331 Pacemaker? I would like to know percent pacing, battery life, etc. changes and dates.

Thanks, JanetAD

Anxiety

I'm hoping someone can answer my question.   Has anyone experienced any anxiety and/or Panic attacks before their first Pacemaker setting adjustment.   My surgery was on October 19th, 2020.  I'll be just sitting and do nothing and go into a anxiety attack.  I feel like I'm going crazy.

Any advice or suggestions will be appreciated.

Also ...i go to the pacemaker clinic this next Tuesday.

Just to be clear...

Vitatron pacemaker

Hello! Is there anyone on this forum who has a vitatron pacemaker? I made my first replacement a month and a half ago. The first was a medtronic. With this pacemaker I have noticed that at certain times of the day I hear 3 beats. That is, at 8:30 exactly, at 11:30 and at 2:30. This happens day and night. During the examination, the doctor did not find anything abnormal.

Home Monitoring Function or Longer Battery Life

I had a Biotronik Edora 8 DR-T implated early this month and this PM model includes Home Monitoring function.

In the post surgery check up session, my doctor informed me that she didn't turn on the Home Monitoring function for me because she understood that I concerned about the battery life. Turn on the home monitoring function will shortern the battery life for a year at least. Also, in Hong Kong (where I live), it's easy to go into clinic for PM chec...

How to spot AFIB on Pacemaker Readout

I have never been told I have AFIB but on recent pacemaker readout the tech said something about  AFib. I have copy of the readout so how to I spot Afib in all this data.  I did for one of the very few time have some episodes last March and April.  They were Peak A Rate.

I have Zephyr DR5820.

For last 65 years I have been told I have irregular heat beat but never kept me from flying.  I also have SVT but take low dose metropol.

I would be most gratful if...

DDDR on temporary pacemaker sheet.

Bradycardia with heart block pacemaker fitted 10/11/2020.

No prior issue of being able to raise heart rate.

Evening all

I noticed on my pacemaker temp card it states DDD(R)

A quick search on this forum says the R stands for rate response and that it is required in people who struggle to raise their heart rate in response to increased requirements.

Can you think why I would have been set with this on? Is it an initial setting to err on the side of safety until the...

Pacemaker setting

I was just at the ER over the weekend thinking my settings needed to be checked as my heart rate was fluctuating.   It ended up being my anxiety.   I am so frustrated.   They said that my Hearts own natural pacemaker has been taking over and that the interrogation report shows my pacemaker working as it should.   I have seen my heart rate drop to 45 on the pulse oximeter and thought the pacemaker had kicked in.  But they said no.... it hadn't.&...

medtronic azure s dr mri w3dr01

Evening all

I would like to go to my first check-up fully up to speed with what options I have on my medtronic azure s dr mri w3dr01.

I was fitted due to bradycardia, a 2:1 block and I think temporary evidence of a mobitz 2 block. I am 45 very fit with no other heart issues.

Before this acute issue my resting heart rate was high 50s.

During running my maximum heart rate was 190. Cycling a fair bit less.

Clearly my aim is to ensure the pacemaker allows me to...

Interrogations

I have a Boston Scientific CRT-D Device that I have had since 2005.  When I go in for a check u[ and my device is interrogated it is very uncomfortab;e - it makes me feel like I am fainting or going to faint.  Then the rest of the day I am throwing PVC's like crazy.  anyone else have this problem

Medtronic transmission

Question.   I was feeling a little off today (heart rate in the low 100's while resting...headache).  I called my pacemaker clinic to see what they said.   They said everybody's heart rate is different and saw no cause for alarm over it being there.   I asked them about sending a transmission and they said anytime I feel "off" to go ahead and send one and no need to call and let them know.   And that if they saw anything they woul...

Can a device clinic wipe out a PM’s data?

- I have a Medtronic Azure that was implanted 2 months ago. Three weeks later I was called to EP's Device Clinic because a lead had failed. My EP said it was my fault and he was 100% certain it was my fault because I volunteered that I quit wearing the sling two weeks after surgery. Did this because the pacemaker juts badly into my underarm and that with the sling caused a bad rash (I have atopic dermatitis) and not being able to move my arm (a very tight sling contrap...

Interrogation reaction

I know I’m sensitive but my doctors tell me no one else has this (?j.

When I go in to the office for the interrogation the Pacemaker doc puts the magnet over my pacemaker.  It only takes a few minutes for him to check things.  Then I begin to feel a heavy ach in that area, and this has happened every time. (Since 2012)

Becuase of the Covid pandemic we mutually decided I should do the remote monitoring.  After getting it set up, the first night I awake wi...

Is it my Heart or my Watch.

I had a checkup of CRT-P with EP two weeks ago.  My Echo in May was great and all seemed promising, but I was not feeling as great as I was earlier.  I had complained to GP a few times on phone (no face to face since January) that I was getting SOB and tired again.  So two weeks ago I finally got to see EP for a once cancelled scheduled visit.  Find out that my left ventricle lead is not doing anything, had moved.  After a lot of testing they found the best positioned...

CHB pacing

I'm just curious.

Currently I have a CHB without a PM.

Without a PM, the AV node is pacing itself at a lower rate, hence the 30-40bpm bradycardia commonly found in CHB people.

My understanding is that a pacer will "follow" the SA node to trigger the AV node, with an appropriate delay .

So when a PM, would the AV node continue its original independent pacing in addition to the one induced by the PM? Does the PM wait for the AV self-pulse to occur and...

Update on first Medtronic transmission

Today I went for my device check in my EP’s office following my first data report. His office had called and wanted me to come in today while the Medtronic rep was there. So pleased to hear that my VP rate is 12.3% and the AP 18.1%. There were no arrthymias and the leads are stable. He said my high VP of 93% on June 30th were just an adjustment period for my heart. The rep told me it’s called Intermittent Heart Block. My intrinsic heartbeat is working 80% of the time. I’m fe...

First Appointment at Pacemaker clinic

I had my first Pacemaker clinic appointment along with the Nurse Practioner for my EP Dr.   Found out my Settings are 50 for low and 130 for the high.  NP said that i have only had to use the PM for Maybe less than 3% Since i got home.  She also said that my incision is foing good and told me only air now...no bandage.

Now... if I can only relax and learn to rely on my PM.

I had issues with fainting and dizziness for so long that i hav...

Pace Maker

I got my pacemeker about 14 months ago.

Heart rate was set at 60

These dayes I have been feeling COLD FEET,  SOME SHORTNESS OF BREATH AND LOT OF FATIGUE  EVEN THOUGH I HAVE BEEN SLEEPING WELL.

Have several times requesed my EP to increase setting on my pace maker but every time he says it is not because of PM. It could be something else. 1st he asked me to talk to my cardialogist which I did.  This time he suggested to see my Family doctor

I am real...

First Transmission continued...

On 9/30 I got a phone call from my EP’s office saying that after reviewing my first device transmission he wants me to come in for further checking on 10/27 when the Medtronic device will be there.

My question is this. I was told that there is a problem relating to “ capture “ with my PM. Since I have complete heart block it seems to be if my PM isn’t working right I would experience symptoms like I had before the PM. SOB, fainting or near fainting and fati...

Simple Adjustment

Why does my doctor's office make it such a pain in the rump to make simple setting changes?  I tell them I'm uncomfortable or feeling a little off pacer wise, but the exchange ends up like brain surgery.  In my case, it was the response factor setting being too high and my heart working too hard for the level of activity.   Doc says "well the numbers don't support the move" but then reluctantly allows it.  Jeez man I'm the one...

UK annual check-up postponed

Tomorrow I was due to have my sixth annual device check at Barts hospital in London, but they have phoned to say they are postponing it until the Spring.  Needless to say it is because of reducing the number of people seen in a hospital clinic during the Coronavirus situation.  Last year's check showed at least 2 years battery life expected, and I know these are usually underestimates, so am not worried about the delay but thought other Brits might be interested.
