for AF -Blood thinners or surgery

The other day i received through my cardilogist's portal an email saying for the first time for me at least .   Since  the implant on Aug, 2019,   The pacemaker had sent an alert.  My pacemaker information is sent nightly,.   

Last lexican stress test in 1/20/21 was stable and showed EF 60%-63%.  Also I have PAF and SSS and intermitten CHB.

Raynaud’s Syndrome?

COVID-19 vaccine may have added side effects in subjects with known heart disease.

I was 67 years old when I received my 2nd Moderna vaccination. Prior to the vaccination I had a history of abnormal ECGs in the last 30 or more years. They showed at different times, athletic heart, low level RBB. abnormal changes, possible enlarged left atrium. The eckocardiograms where always normal. I got the 2nd vaccine on 03/12/21. Bisoprolol - in the morning or at night?

Hi,

I just switched my Medication - Bisoprolol from the morning to the late afternoon to see if it less affects my sleepin habits.

Does anyone have any experience doing this?

PVC

I was in hospital with Covid for a week. They had me on oxygen set at 2. My oxygen levels would fall to 81- 82. I had many times this would happen my alarm would go off for low oxyge but also low heart rate, My monitor would show 30s 40's 50s instead of 70.  Now at home same problem and still on oxygen full time. Anyone have these drops on PVC ?

Did you have “Medical” or “Surgical” intervention for any Coronary Artery Disease and Heart Failure symptoms and how are you doing?

Rate dropping below low rate setting

Dual lead pacemaker placed on 1/3/22 to address bradycardia. The low rate was set to 60 and for the most part at rest that's what my Apple Watch and o2ring says. The pm and leads were working on 1/3. I was in the office on 1/14 for a wound check.  They checked the pm and said it was working fine. As an aside after three weeks I can sleep on my side.

Hi All I was prescribed Trazadone 50 mgs for insomnia. I always check w my cardio when prescribed a med from any doctor.

He said Trazadone pretty benign med See's no problem. Yet I have read cardio patients must be careful with conduction issues.

Is there a pacemaker that addresses slow heart rate and AFIB

An Abbott PM2272 pacemaker was implanted a little over a year ago.  At the time my main complaint was slow heart rate but I also averaged one or two AFIB events each year.   Now I am having many more AFIB events and am less than deliriously happy with this particular pacemaker (which has been recalled for leaking).  Is there a device that could have addressed both slow heart rate and AFIB that might have been a better choice than this Abbott PM2272 to address BOTH conditio...

Hope all is well. Reaching out because I'm curious what other members take for medications when it comes to being congested or having a cold? I've noticed ever since getting my mechanical valve and PM there seems to be a list of meds I can't take (because they interact with my existing meds I would assume?).

atenolol to treat tachycardia

I was on Atenolol for a long time to treat tachycardia they had to start reducing the dosage because of heart rate becoming to slow. That's when my cardioligist decided to implant a pm to prevent, my heart rate from going too slow and causing me to blackout again. I wasn't told whether to continue the atenolol or not. Battery running low and optimization.

has anybody gone "off" their betablockers ?

Got back to my work after over a year of sick leave (severe heart failure due to a Dilated left ventricule, and got a CRT-D installed end February.

Just wondering : has nobody ever gone "off" betablockers (bisoprolol etc...)

I am struggling with one of the side effects (really bad cough) and it has lasted for months now.

I had a horrible experience with Entresto, same pb.

Both my sisters also cough with their hb pressure meds...must be a family thing.

What happens if you have a nose bleed while on blood thinner, how serious is it.  I am not on bblood thinners at the moment.  Do have a pacemaker.
