When will I fell les....

Ok...you all have been so helpful as I only know my friends mom has a pm and she's 75. I'm 42!
It's been 9 days since implating the pm and I notice when I get up and walk or sit up in bed and walk I feel the pm heaviness sometimes the leads and "feel" it more than I thought.
Will this go away in time?

I see my cardio on monday am. I do feel stronger today with finally sleeping through the night.

Question for the ladies...

Hello ladies!

Okay here is a good question for ya. I am a 27 year old with LQTS and an ICD. Also a mother of two. After having my second child I lost a good bit of weight (weigh about 105 pounds). question on pain

quick history, i have CHF, now have icd with defib. and PM and used to get angina daily, very bad...this went on for about a year or so before eventually becoming minimal. it still strikes but not as often. i asked my many cardiologists many a times where it was coming from and why and only one offered me a direct answer, saying that maybe there was still blockage in the tiny arteries which were impossible to get a stent into. the others just shook their heads like i was in la-la land and di...

Pain in chest, head, neck, even teeth!

I NEED HELP! This is for a friend of mine... I was wondering if anyone has had an irritating pain in their chest after the pacemaker implant. The pain starts as the day progresses, going from where the 2 leads are implanted, sometimes going up through the neck, and sharp pains in the head. Even her teeth are hurting! Hi all, My first post! Just wondering if there are any members out there have returned to full contact hockey? Im a 28 yr old semi-pro hockey player. I had my PM sub pectoraly implanted 9 days ago. Thanks for the reply TraceyE. Isee the cardiologist in about 3 weeks so will mention everything to him then. I get the impression that most of the other people in the club are from U.S.A! I live in the north west of England and I feel really good belonging to this club where if I have any worries I can talk to people who understand. Have agood day everyone!

Well, I have been poked, stuck and scanned. After I explained my what was happening the doc ordered some blood work, a CT scan and patted me on the shoulder. He checked my body pulses... all was good. No problems there. I will know what the CT scan shows in a day or two. reassurance

Had pacemaker inplanted 9 days ago for sss/wenckebach (not overly sure which yet)! Still getting used to it, it was all a bit of a rush to get me in and the procedure done after an abnormal result from a 24 hour e.c.g monitoring. I am having strong thudding feelings, especially at night, and it was making me really nervous, but since reading comments from others that they feel the same sensations I feel so much better! Driving after a pm?

Another concerned question. I know I'll find out tomorrow after they put the pm in but kinda what to know what to expect now. If everything goes smoothy tomorrow when you thing I will be able to drive? When I had the loop recorded they stated 3 days. The anxiety is getting to me and lots of questions are going through my mind. Okay here is another one. Does anyone know what causes syncope? swelling

hi everyone well what a day ,hubby had mitral valve replaced last june and pm fitted in oct last yr ,and since then we have noticed he has a swollen left man boob and its sore to touch no redness he always been a verey slim built man and even i can see the difrence in it and it is swollen ,we saw consultant at hospital today and what a waste of time that was the cardiologest said he needs to get his postrate cheeked out even though he doesnt have trouble with waterworks ,he had a 24 hour ecg on...
