Okay, I gotta spill my guts....I'm feeling blue and really really low. What's with that? Must be the weather? My pacemaker is working well, I don't feel it at all, so it can't be that as I haven't had problems with it for like 2 years now.
No new meds. Family life perfect. But recently diagnosed with Colitis and have lost 38 pounds. I am now 117 pounds which is considered underweight as I'm 5 feet 6.5 inches tall...so perhaps thats whats getting me down. I dunno. Just thought...

Injury or damage to the heart muscle or blockage of a blood vessel in your heart can slow or block the electrical impulses that make your heart beat. Even though interference with the i...

recently I was in Malta on holiday and decided to have a back and neck massage. the girl who did the massage was very rough and I found it quite painful. Later on I suffered palpatations for approx 24 hours then they slowly dissapeared. I would like to know if anyone else has ever experienced anything like this

Did anybody w/PM feel like their heart stopped and then received like a shock and it started back up again? Let me explain. Last night my chest muscle started to twitch and it lasted for about 3 hours but only happened when I was sitting. (HR drops below 60 when I sit--PM set at 60) I was reading and I, well I think I spaced out a little, it felt like my heart stopped and then all of a sudden I felt a shock and I jumped. The twitching stopped and things have been fine since. I called the d...

Just come back from hols. No trouble with flight, great. Palps behaved and felt good.
One question please, has anyone experienced a weird sensation whilst dozing. Suddenly waking with a gasp, as though you cannot breath. Doesn't last long, but scarey. Any ideas please. Has happened couple of times

He set appt for 9/11 with cardiologist, BUT he called their office all day to be sure the cardiologist actually looked at the EKG he faxed. They said, get her in here tomorrow a.m. 9:15 am was in heart doc office, 10:00 am admitted to hospital, 12:30 pm Pacemaker was implanted. I continue to say ALL IS GOOD. Timing was absolutely everything. Heart rate dropped d...

Hi Everyone, here's something I found that some might find helpful and/or interesting:
Sept. 29, 2008 -- Heart disease and depression are so common that all heart patients should be routinely screened for depression and referred for professional help if necessary, according to new recommendations issued by the American Heart Association.

OMG! I had a homecoming football game on Saturday (I'm in the marching band) and it was AWESOME!!!!!!!! John Handley High School Judges (us) took on the Sherando High School Warriors (them) at 1 pm on Handley's field. It was great because 1) It was our homecoming game 2) Sherando was undefeated 3) Sherando was 2nd in the state 4) Their mascot stuck his spear into our JH emblem in the middle of the field and the administrators made him take it out :) and 5) They ALWAYS beat us!!! I was exausted b...

The pacer systems are really very reliable. The main problem is the incompetent programming of them. If yours is working well for you, get on with life and enjoy it. You probably are more at risk of problems with a valve job than the pacer.
