Well after getting lots of help from Blake I was finally able to sign back into my account. I just wanted to let everyone know that I had my 2week check up on Wens. 19th and the Doc said that everything was going ok. I had a slight infection from where my incision had torn a little but other then that the pm is doing its job. In the 14 days that I had my pm I had used it 154 times. It seemed like a lot to me but the doctors said that there was nothing to worry about as long as I was doin...

To All I send wishes for a very Merry Christmas filled with the joy of Christ's birth and His promises to us. When I think of how God gave us His son I am in awe even though I know the story by heart and have since I was a tot. The message always brings me "tidings of comfort and joy" as the song says. We had such a lovely Christmas Service today. If any are interested, Saddleback Church where Rick Warren is Senior Pastor, FOX News was present again this year to record our Christmas Services...

My wife received an ICD 15 months ago & is doing well. However, her doctor has advised her to lose weight & get in shape. She is willing to use a elliptical trainer - but, all the ones I've seen have heart-rate monitors in the handles (you place your hands around the metal hand-holds & they measure your heart rate). I am leery of these since she says that her doctor told her not to stand on a weight scale that determines fat content (similar electrical method?). Anyone have any knowledge, experi...

I have a pacer and I have noticed that I feel a heavy "beat" sometimes. It has been happening more often now and I am just wondering if anyone out there has had the same problem. Kind of like someone has turned on the bass of my PM(LOL).

I have a two lead biotronic pm and have 100% dependency because of a av node ablation due to atrial fibrillation. I have a wiggly sensation or as I have called it worms or vibration in my chest and in my back when I wake up; in the morning or when I have been resting in the afternoon. They have my pm set a 75 and 135 which is higher (they say ) because of the 100% dependency. I have heard that they can set the rate response to a lower setting if you have such a thing on your pace maker. Doe...

Hello Blake,
Is it possible that the "previous.........next" could be at the bottom of the page as well as the top? Once I scroll down thru the fabulous pictures I would love it if I could click right there at the end of the pics. It is not a problem - goodness knows I would never complain about what you have created for us........ Just a thought I have every time I go to the album. It is great to see the photo album grow with pictures of all these wonderful people I have grown to...

Happy Holidays All!! Just found this group and thought I would post. I am a 47 year old female who was implanted in June of 2006 and had a cardiac ablation the next month. I was diagnosed with tachy/brady syndrome and atrial fib. I was born with Tetrology of Fallot which was corrected in 1973 and Dr. thinks is the reason for the other issues now.

ideas on how to get over a start of a cold before christmas? Although it could be allergies with this crazy weather. We had thunderstorms this morning. It was in the 50s where it is usually in 20- 30s.
Baby, it's cold outside! <:-)

Hello from Nebraska USA! I drove up today from our home in Kansas and it has been a beautiful day! The storm from Saturday left about 10" inches of snow on the ground and I was happy to leave it behind. The cold weather and I don't get along! However it is just as cold here in Nebraska. We are here visiting the Grandkids! Yes, they are each one beautiful!
I would like to say that I am so very, very thankful for the wonderful year I have had. 2007 has proved to be a life changing...

I am behind a week on reading everyones post due to my grandma being in the hospital. She just got home which is really nice. I
To update those who know my situation well. I went in for my pm check and I am clear from a-fib now. Which was great news. The nurse read to me what my doctor wrote to my regular dr and he said that he is pretty sure that I do ha...
