Still having symptoms

New pacemaker and pains

I also have a Medtronic CRT pacemaker implanted in May. I haven’t had the pain that you describe. Keep asking your EP about this as you shouldn’t be feeling this level of pain and discomfort.

New pacemaker and pains

I have new CRT Medtronic pacemaker. I have had short instances of pain in my heart since implant. It feels like either nerve pain or a lead firing a nerve. Short sharp burts of pain. Not constant and don't happen all the time either. When power was lowered at check up pain lessened. My heart was penetrated when lead was screwed in to muscle and I coded. Chest discomfort & pain while sleeping

I am 41 year old female who was diagnosed with Complete Heart Block. My Dad has had a pacemake for 3 1/2 years, now he has low heart rate

My Dad is 89, had a packmaker put in , in July of 2017. Other than being in the hosipital pre pacemaker, where heart rate would drop briefly to 40, then back into the 70s, his heart rate when he checked his bp would be somewhere between uppder 60s and around 80.

HISTORY:

Non ischemic cardiomyopathy. Heart rate 30-52. BP  varies, not sky high. Near fainting. Remarkable lightheadedness one occasion. Left ventricle some subendocardia damage, same ventricle has septal dyskinesia, that is, instead of squeezing, it moves in other direction, (hopes this yields to electrical correction).

Complications from pacemaker

I received my medtronic pm in July 2018 and felt great within minutes after coming out of the anesthetic. I couldn't believe how good I was feeling after so many years of feeling crapy. Fast heart rate when standing and sometimes SOB

Hello everyone! I just wanted to post and see if anyone else has had the same problems as me. When I stand up from lying down my heart rate shoots up 40 plus beats. I will have a heart rate of 60 and then when I stand it will hit 120. This makes my chest feel tight and I can feel my heart race. Chest Pain & Dull Throbbing

I addressed this problem several days ago here,  my pace maker makes an electronic beep randomly several times a day, was told to contact dr., contacted the tech at my drs office and was told that the pacemaker cannot make a noise,   on a conference call we called Medtronics and was told the same thing,i wear an  electronic watch, and usually have my iphone and ipad near me, today i removed the watch and moved the ipad and iphone away from me, i still hear random beep...

Post pacemaker vibrations

Hi Everyone..... I am presently 8 weeks post pacemaker implant. At 2 weeks I started to develop a buzzing or electrical current sensation in my feet and legs that pulsates. Pacemaker noise

Had pacemaker installed 9-17-2020 in the last few day my pacemaker seems to be making an electronic noise sporadically, i have ck'd there is nothing around me to make that noise, i haven't heard the noise until i got the pacemaker, called the manufacturer and they tell me the pace maker can't make a noise,, the pacemaker is Medtronic Azure XT DR MRI. Swelling

Hi 

I had my box change 10 days ago surgery was awful as old pacemaker got stuck, but I was OK healing well day 3, then started to have swelling and little pain around pacemaker and bad bruising swelling is still there should I be concerned never had any problems the last twice

Question for ALL my TECH SAVY Pacers!

Hello everyone! 

This is a question for anyone who really understands their PM. Now the last time (2 weeks ago) I went in for a PM adjustment they changed the CLS and Accelerometer set to OFF. I have the low end at 60 during the day and 50 from 12-6am while I sleep. Now guess what? Somehow I feel MUCH BETTER! I still notice my symptoms but now I only notice them when the PM is in use. For example when resting and my heart rate drops to 60 I feel a fullness in my chest. Or...

Syncope

I had two episodes where I thought I would pass out from the ectopic beats prior to my PM and today three months after placement I had a short episode where I felt I was going out. I was hopeful this wouldn't occur after my PM. My heart rate was in the 70s so I probably wasn't pacing at the time. It scared me. Also had a little nausea an hour or so after walking 4 miles. ANESTHESIA & PACEMAKER

Hello Fellow PaceMaker Users!

I have to have a routine (I don't want to type the name of it) - everyone over 50 supposed to have it  everyone 10 yrs. to prevents colon cancer & you drink a horrible drink the night before (you guessed it).

I'd like to know if anyone's ANESTHESIA affected their pacemaker?  AND/OR if your gastro doctor found a polyp to remove did that procedure affect your pacemaker?

Small 2mm-3mm mobile clot appearing to attach to RA lead near prosthetic tricuspid

Just got some TEE results uploaded to my electronic records today.  My current cardiologist mentioned nothing of the discovery of a 2-3mm mobile vegetation (sonographer said possibly fibrin) in my right atrium where my atrial lead is brushing near my porcean tricuspid valve.  It says the mass is mobile but appears to be attached to the lead.  I am not on anticoagulants.  Is this something I should be concerned about? Clot or vegetation in my atrium sounds like a bad thing?...
