Dr. Visit

Well, it seems my dr. doesn't believe I have a blood pressure problem anymore as it is being controlled by the medication. However today while I was in a meeting, the room spun and round and I was left feeling very detached and a little weird. So I stopped by my dr. office to see what he thought. I told GP about feeling so tired, feeling unwell and the dizziness. He ran a few test, an EKG and explained that it isn't my heart. The pacemaker is doing it's job. He has ordered a CT scan of my head and neck tomorrow at 2:00.

I have a lot to do tomorrow already! I have a 7 am networking meeting and then later a party at my house! I'm getting really stressed! Good grief, I was volunteered to chair the Christmas Open house as well. My goodness, I'm going to need to enlist some help form my friends.

Anyway I spent most of the day at the Dr. having test done. I'm too busy to get too excited or worried about what he might be looking for.

He has ruled out my heart, my blood pressure and any reaction to medication. I am beginning to feel like I did before I was hospitalized the last time in June! I hope that he can figure out what is making me feel so awful. Dizziness, very tired, sleeps a lot, feeling detached and worried.

So that is the latest with me. I would like to be well. I really would.

I can see where people might think that I am way too busy, but I have always been this way. Busy, busy, busy. I like it like that. However I have really slowed down this last year and not by choice.
I would go completely mad staying at home doing nothing. I should be able to live my life without being dizzy and tired. The holidays are coming and I don't want to be home snoozing at 6pm, asleep in my rocker. Those days are not in my plan. I don't mean to sound ungrateful, but I am not ready to through in the towel just yet to sit in my rocker!

I have a day of the week for each thing I do as follows:

*Tuesday.........Problems
*Wednesday....Cleanup
*Thursday........I call it Paperday(Books, Bills, etc.,anything paper
*Friday............Car day(anything cars)
*Saturday........nothing but work
*Sunday..........Rest
*Monday..........the worst day of the week(everyone's grouchy!)Rest

Note: My work days are Tues.-Sat.

Also daily I write down 6/items to do...then that is it! If I don't get it done I move it forward

Without REST you can't do your tasks with energy, passion, and vigor! So when in the rocking chair remember you are like a lion resting in the brush...ready to jump up and ATTACK!!

Since I got my pacemaker, I don't pass out anymore! That's a blessing in itself.
