anyone ever heard of this

Ok I had been having some episodes of almost blacking out and went to get a pm check. The P.A. said that my restasis setting was turned on and shouldn't have been. I had never heard of that. Anyone know what that means? It has something to do with the amount of time between beats I think. I'm confused!

Restasis is a prescription eye drop for dry eye disease.

Maybe he didn't.

When I came home and looked it up that's all I found too. I can't find any mention of it in regards to pacemaker settings. Maybe I misunderstood the word he was using, but he even called St Jude to talk to them about it and they said it should be off. I actually saw him switch something from on to off. He said it comes from the factory turned on. It was allowing my heart rate to go below the 80 setting for a few seconds which was causing the pauses. I saw the difference on the monitor of my heart rate when he changed it and I felt it, so he did something. I have been telling them all along that it was going below my low setting but they kept saying no it can't. Then yesterday it just happened to be doing it while I was there. Who knows anymore though! Maybe he did just make me think he changed something! If they did change something after two years of me telling them something wasn't right, it sure took them long enough! Either way it does not give me confidence in them anymore!

Could it be restenosis?

That pulled up on a google search.
