As a person who had one lead retract the news is not good. You will have to go in to surgery and have it replaced. I had had my 1st pacemaker five days when I began to be shocked by the retracted wire. It was very uncomfortable and painful. Two days later I was back in surgery where they replaced both leads. Good luck. I noticed you live in Yuba City, I was born and raised in Marysville and now live in Lancaster, CA.
You know you're wired when...

Just because you have a device doesn't mean you are damaged goods and can't do anything worthwhile and have to lie down and die. In fact, you're better and stronger. You're bionic!

I'm sorry you have to deal with this. They'll go in the same place as they did to place it the first time and redo the wire that's loose. Another surgery is never fun but you've already been through the worst of it.
