I am learning so much from you all

Hi Again, I want to say I am learning so much from you all and I am so grateful for finding this group. I wrote last night when I was up about my 2 week old Medtronic Adapta (rate responsing). I appreciate the coupld of feedbacks I already received. A sleep mode was set when I went in for my 1st check up. That was when my trouble with being wide awake at bedtime began. I am thinking I might need to have it turned off.........???

Also of all things I own a a 30 minute workout gym for women, Curves. I went back to work a couple hours a day immediatley to get paper work done. When I become tired my heart rate jumps to the low 90's, the pacer rep said I go into algorithm, which I do not understand. The pacer is not reading my activity correctly, he said. The rep said he could turn my pacer down to 60, it was set at 70. The doctor did not want to do it as I had been so larthargic with my bradycardia. However, I told him I need a happy medium after being low for so long. He finally turned it to 60. But I still do the same. I will be at work at my desk and it feels like my heart is raceing. Is there more settings they can adjust? My body is just so out of wack. I know I need to be patient and really I am grateful for the pacer. I just just trying to understand it.

Today I learned a lot from your discussion regarding battery life and voltage, to get pre & post check up print outs, and I learned there is a Brady group on FaceBook. This is great, learning is so helpful!

I am just grateful to God that I lived long enough to have my ICD put in. So many people are not as lucky as us; even though we sometimes don't feel lucky.
