born with heart condition

hi im kelley (kellbell) i joined recently I was born with a heart condition and had open heart surgery in 2002 and was fitted with a pacemaker afterwards. post me a comment and let me know about yourself. thanks!

Welcome to our club, Kelley! I'm Tracey and I was also born with my heart condition. I got my first pm when I was 27. I'm 43 now, active and healthy, a mom, a business owner. I've never let my heart slow me down and I hope you don't either!

hi ,kelley i got my pacemaker 2/19/09 for bradycardia at the age of 33, i just started feeling dizzy and lightheaded a couple of days and a row not to mention tired, i went to my dr did ekg low heart rate 30s 40s, seen cardiologist wore 24hr monitor seen i had 2to 1 av block required a pacemaker,so got it was worried at first feeling fine now after about amonth recovery havent missed a beat enjoying life to the fullest n hope you can do the same blessings to you.

hi tracey thanks for the welcome. You say you were born with your heart condition what was it exactly. Glad to hear someone else was born with one. Your doing well with your pacemaker 16 years well done you! Did you get it changed or id that the same one.
P.S. I like the photos especially the one with the dolphin!!
