Doing well

Hi everyone,
First off, as alwasy, thank you to all of you who read my last post. I am doing very weel with recovery. I have been moved out of ICU as the plans have gone and the blood transfusions have stopped after lasty night. My blood counts are good and I feel good. i think I overdid it today so I'm exhausted, but it feels good. Everything is going as planned and I'm up on ym feet and moving around lots. My nurses keep telling me that it's hard to believe I just had surgery yesterday and such serious surgery when I am getting around and moving like I am. Good sleep tonight and I have been told that by Monday i should know where we go from here and when I might be able to go home. I did have a reaction to a new medication tonight so it had to be stopped and we had top get the reaction under control, but doing better now. It feel good to finally see the light at the end of the tunnel and know that I'm on my way home, granted with homecare 24/7, but small price t9o pay if I get to go home. thanks again to everyone and hopefully the next time I post i will be able to tell you when I'm going home.

Dearest Taryn - once again good news! Well done! Keep up the good work and you'll be home in no time. You must be longing for your own bed and your own things around you - not long now. Don't go exhausting yourself, will you. Take your time and be safe and well. More love, Sheila

I see you are posting again. It has been many months, a year? Sounds like you must be doing better.

I have kept up with you, your brother and a 3rd person who posted for you 2 for so long. What a history all three of you have had with such deathly diseases/ health problems. I had been wondering about all 3 since the 'posts' stopped many, many 'moons' ago.

How is your brother now? The last post many moons ago, I believe he had ended up in ICU with you. The prognosis for both of you sounded very bleak, if that much. I was wondering at the time, if you had any Families with both of you while your illness required such drastic ICU matters. Best I remember, every day or so you and your brother were diagnosed with even worse problems.

Thank you for posting and letting your fellow PM members know how your prognosis has turned out over this past year. Again, please tell us about your brother's conditions and of the 3rd party who posted for you'll when your conditions were so 'bleak.

So glad there is a happy ending, beginning to this story.

Let us hear from all of you on your progress,

Carolyn,
Taryn's brother is back to normal no cancer and is married and enjoying life.
Still pray for Taryn as she needs them right now more than anything. I'm worried about her and can only pray for my friend.
Take care!

Blessings,
Tammy
