yAY!

Just returned from an interrogation where I'm very pleased to announce that BOTH my leads are still attached and everything is working properly.

My underlying "natural" rhythm is junctional. I no longer have any P waves, but I'm thankful for the atrial lead to pace me at 100%.

My rate response was adjusted slightly, and I'll see them again next month for another tweak.

I am absolutely DIGGIN' Medtronic's service, and my Adapta Dual Chamber Pacemaker.

For once in my life, I think things are finally falling into place.

YAY!

Thanks ya'll for helping me along. I don't know what I would have done without ya'll. Thanks Blake for this site....

Always,
Angelie

So happy to hear good news! I go for my first check after my replacement next Wednesday. After all you went through, I just want to know that my new lead is still attached!

interrogation

I don't like that word interrogation. Sounds like being in court.
*******
"Now Angelie, remember you are under oath, are you denying that you have P waves?"

"Yes sir"

"And you claim to have natural junctional rhythm?"

"yes sir"

"Please tell the court what purpose you had in displaying this junctional rhythm in public"

Now do you see why I don't like the term????

I'm 35 and got my pacemaker a little over a year ago. It definitely is not a burden to me. In fact, I have more energy (which my husband enjoys), can do more things with my kids and have weight because of having the energy.
