my second interrogation, yeah!

Hello everyone:
I just wanted to say thanks for this site and the messages of support from my last two posts. I said I'd let you know how my second interrogation went with my pacemaker. It went better than the first one and not as upsetting. I remember telling you that I felt a flip flop feeling in the heart and a blurring of my vision with the first interrogation and told the technician to stop.

I mentioned this feeling at this second visit and the technician said that a note was in my file to not lower the pacemaker as low.

A cardiologist always comes in to check the print outs the technician does and tries the pacemaker himself. He told me to bear with him as he lowered the pacemaker and let him know if I felt like I was going to faint. This time I felt a weighted feeling on my heart and could feel the heart beats. The cardiologist said my heart did lend a few beats on it's own. The pacemaker was then brought back up to where it was and that was it. The Cardiologist told the technician to take out the history and that I had 11 and 1/2 years left in the batteries. I've had the pacemaker since May 18/10. The tec. mentioned something about Sept. 27 and my ventricle in the history, as I have dual leads. I'm not too fluent in pacemaker talk so I hope you understand what I'm trying to say.

All in all, it was not bad at all.

Thanks again pacemaker club.
