Hi All,
It's been ten days since I had the PM surgery. Everything has been going well. I no longer have the internal earthquake with every heart beat. The pain and discomfort was no way near what I thought it woud be. That alone is a celebration. However, I feel like the shortness of breath is trying to return. I think the PM adjusts the heart and it doesn't become full blown but it is making me cautious. I have my follow up in four days. Is there a way to adjust the PM in the office so that I can finally start exercising again. Right now I just want to get on the treadmill before I start rolling around.
I also get small tingling sensations from time to time under the bandage. It feels like electrical stimulation therapy.
By the way, I finally came up with a name for my PM as suggested. I call it Tinker Bell.

Tinker Bell, love it!!!!
You'll get a lot of weird sensations as it heals. As long as it's not hot, oozing, or streaking it's fine.
Yes, they can adjust it when you're hooked up to the computer. The shortness of breath might be the settings, tell them about it when they check it. It's normal to take a few tries to get it just right.
