Wrist heart monitor

I am looking for a wrist heart monitor that will work with my pacemaker. I have a partial AV block. I have tried a few and they just don't give a read out or they give a false one. I can't seem to find anyone who can help including my doctor.
I used one before the PM and would really like to again. Thanks Bob

I am in the UK and I am 100% dependant on my PM. I use a "Polar" heart rate monitor. Mine is a chest strap with a wrist watch that reads it. This has no interference either way and I find it comfy to wear when excercising.
I think you can get them worldwide although not sure if you can get a wrist only one.

If you look through the archives here you will see several posts about hrm's. A few have had good luck with various brands. I've tried just about all of them and finally gave up.

My pacer is a Biotronic Cylos DR-T and I use a Polar RS100 monitor with a chest strap. It seems to work pretty well for me, and according to my doctor and the research I've read, there shouldn't be any problem with interference.

You have an excuse for gaining an extra ounce or two.

I'm 35 and got my pacemaker a little over a year ago. It definitely is not a burden to me. In fact, I have more energy (which my husband enjoys), can do more things with my kids and have weight because of having the energy.
