Thank you for replying CabgPatch(is that as in Cabgpatch doll from the '80's?)

I am not sure what you mean - did you mean they will pay to have it replaced rather than me?

But also if there is a warranty should that not entail the trauma of having more surgery(and in my case alot of pain in having the lead excised) but also in lay up time and all the disruption to family, ie child minders, loss of earnings etc..Not looking for anything over and above but it would be nice if the costs totally pertaining to the revision of either generator box or leads(I have broken the stats, I have had both and now it seems my lead revision which I had 3 years ago is now in breech of its insulation again.)

Anyway I am fed up with this. I have had 1 generator failure and 1 atrial lead failure and now the second atrial lead...all with M********, what the h*ll is going on. I am so fed up with it all. I eat well, exercise(when I can) and have a perfect BMI, so its not if I am failing on my part.

Sorry, rambling, but sometimes it gets too much. Be ok going to boo-camp tomorrow for the terminally self pity group!!! Its just I went from having something simple like a pacemaker fitted 16 years ago when I was 30 till now I am on my 5th device and heading toward my 2nd lead revision!
Ok, bitching session is now ending....wiping self pity tears, hanging up physcotic thoughts, and moving on...ahhhh deep breath. I need the history channel!!

Thanks for perservering if you got this far!! Oh buy the way, how are you?(joking of course I care:), but thanks again.)

Thank you

Yesterday was my first day mountain biking after my implant. I wiped out several times and everything is fine. There are sports after pacemakers!
