Many complications

Hi just wondering if anyone has had so many complications following surgery. Went in for a simple box change. When in theatre they tried to change vt lead as running at a high threshold. This was unsuccessful so abandoned. 5 days later developed a pneumothorax, treated with chest drain. Then got dizzy spells, pacemaker check said no problems. GP treated me for silent migraines. Passed out twice eventually diagnosed with failure to capture. New vt lead inserted, which incidentally was not a problem to insert. Went home and back in hospital 2 days later with perforated vt lead and further surgery.

Since getting my advisa at the end of 2014 in October, which was a pack change from the enpulse, I've had to get mine reprogrammed twice, it almost rejected once and my anxiety has never been worse.. but I'm pretty sure it saved me from cardiac arrest. The doctors tell me otherwise but I know what I felt that night.. in any case I hope that things have settled down for you and you feel some relief somehow. Prayers be with you:)

Thanks

Thanks for your reply. I am physically feeling better apart from feeling very tired. Psychologically it has all left me very anxious about something else going wrong. Hopefully it will improve soon.
