From 3 leads to 2 leads

I have a 3 lead pacemaker in but one of the leads ar faulty and blocked but doc is suggesting going back to 2 leads because its not pacing right and im skipping a heart beat which is dangerous just wondered if anyone has had a simillar op and maybe ease my mind or give info

Understand that the reason for the third lead is to prevent heart remodeling and failure. Your EP thought it was a good idea when he told you that you needed it. "Why don't I need it now?" Make sure you're happy with the answer.

I would ask your current EP or get a second opion regarding replacing the 3rd wire. My EP could not do it the first time but is going to try again,

You likely need it to help with your EF, so keep on asking.
