Got new battery

Hi everyone, just got home from the hospital after receiving new battery. I was pretty much at ease after reading all of the post from all of you, everything was just how all of you said it would be, it all turned out good, and i am feeling better already. Thanks so much.

Hi i got my first pacemaker in August of 2004 it was a St Jude as is the new one. it is pacing at 100 percent so it lasted a good long time hope this helps. Good Luck!

Just curious......

What brand of pacemaker did you have and what brand is the new one. I too received my 1st pacemaker in November of 2004. Medtronics Enpulse.

For the first 5 & a half yrs the % of useage went from 27% to 67%, then when they finally figured out why I felt like crap all those yrs (and turned off a part of the rate response) my % shot up to 90%.

My last interrogation said I had approx 5-6 yrs left. I have my next interrogation in mid November and am eager to see how much battery life is remaining....how accurate was yours in battery life remaining?

So glad to hear that your surgery was successful and that you are feeling better so soon.

Take care,
Pookie

great news!

Yesterday I moved to a new place in my mind and realized how bad I felt 'before' and the difference my pacemaker has made.
