just re-read your posting....you have a pacer.

Somehow I missed that, it's late, I'm tired.

Have you started any new meds?

I had a PM put in oct 28, 2009. Sick Sinus Syndrom. I was allergic to the tape and really had a bad reaction. THAT WENT AWAY. But I still ITCH from the waist up to the sholders. Some days worse and somedays not so bad. I must scratch during my sleep, I have scratch marks alot. I talked to my cardiologist.. he prescribed hydrocortozone cream. Doesnt do any good. Guess I just have to live with it. I think having a foreign object in my body has hypersensitized me or provoked an allergic sensitivity or something. The doctor just told me to use the cream. So I just live with it. My head feels lightheaded or slightly not quite right alomst everyday for a short time to several hours. I have no idea what that's all about. I have had the PM checked and I monitor my bloodpressure and heart rate regularly. Everything is as it is supposed to be. But I still feel weird and un-right most everyday. It my be part of the hyper sensitivity produced by the implant. Meybe part of the allergic thing. Who knows, and the doctors don't seem to be concerned. I'm just keeping on and hoping things will sort themselves out. If you get any answers PLEASE post them o send them to me as I sure would like to change these things. Thanks, Roch

Hi dorbr,

I think you should go to the ER or to a walk-in clinic or Urgent Care or whatever they have where you live to get checked. Better safe than sorry. And, of course, for peace of mind.

You didn't say if you have a pacer or defib or any meds you are taking. Perhaps you have even developed an allergy??? How long has this been going on?

When in doubt...get yourself checked out!!!!

Good luck.
