I want to jump! I want to shout! I want to hug you people out there! Thank you so much for your well wishes and prayers from all over the world...as far as I know, there are folks from Australia, US, UK...etc. Praise the Lord, I bear good news. My hubby Paul's histology report from a Professor of another hospital came back yesterday finally after almost a week( 2nd opinion). The rectal polyp that was removed is now confirmed that it has not breached the wall of the rectum, thereby making it a very very initial or in situ stage. Almost as good as no cancer trace left... God is so good! These past 3 weeks been difficult and traumatic for everybody at home; My dear PM/ICD friends, Paul and I would like to take one 'humble bow' and thank you all for your unceasing prayers, kind words and thoughts without which we'd probably have less strength to bear it all. God does look after His flock! Such blessing you are to us.
We've learnt together something during this anxious and difficult period...and that is we just have to trust Him and wait on Him--be patient. There's nothing else that we can do really.
Paul will need to go for regular checks plus more frequent colonoscopes from now on ; I'm just so relieved and would definitely take time to look after myself now. It's been a very trying time and have neglected myself somewhat...
To SWEDEHEART... I'll do better than doing up my hair / I'm going to buy a few dresses tomorrow!! It's Mother's Day tomorrow here in Singapore! :)
God bless you beautiful friends in this site...HUGS & KISSES.

Wonderful News
by Wannabe - 2008-05-10 04:05:16
Can't tell you how delighted I am to hear the good news about Paul and I wish you both happy in getting well together. What a joy to know prayers have been answered and the words in the Bible are true enough and we simply take little of heed of them, although they say it all -
"Wait on the Lord: be of good courage and He shall strengthen thine heart. Wait I say, wait on the Lord."
I think it's from one of the Psalms and is very comforting.
Enjoy your weekend together and rejoice. Best love, Wannabe.

Just because you have a device doesn't mean you are damaged goods and can't do anything worthwhile and have to lie down and die. In fact, you're better and stronger. You're bionic!
Hurrah!
